Article 5. Tasks
1. To propagandize and train its member to understand the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party and the State on building, development and improvement the product and service quality of the hotel system and other related services.
2. To participate in propagation and introduction the image of Vietnam, Vietnamese famous landscape, human, traditions, cultural characters and history to international friends, and tourism promotion. To participate in setting up strategy for development of hotel in Vietnam if required.
3. To represent its members to make proposal to the State for guidelines, policies and methods of encouragement, creation of favorable conditions for development and protection of legal rights and interests of its members ; to solve cases and events causing damages to the interests of the Sector and its members within its competence; to fulfill its obligations to the State in accordance with applicable laws.
4. To encourage the enhusiasm and creation of its members ; to co-operate and support each other in terms of economics and technology in hotel activities and business on the basic of experience exchange, dissemination and application of advanced scientific and technological achievements ; to help each other to overcome all difficulties.
5. To support and consult the Association’s organization and members about reorganization ; to provide information of economics and market relating to tourism so that its members can achieve effectiveness in business and sustainable development.
6. To coordinate with other relevant organizations of Vietnam Tourism Association in order to follow the principles and purposes of the Association and Vietnam Tourism Association.

Article 6. Powers of the Association
1. To organize seminars and workshops to exchange professional experience, encourage cooperation and assocaition among its members to improve qulity of hotel business and releated services.
2. To provide training courses, services, consultancy and others in accordance with applicable laws and this charter.
3. To do research, make suggestion and proposal of policies and laws to the Government and government agencies in order to make development in the hotel business section.
4. To develop its members, build facilities and develop relations between the Association and domestic and international organizations and individuals in accordance with laws to improve its effectiveness, prestige and position.
5. To publish Magazine, publication and documents propagandizing and popularizing the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party, the State and the tourism sector building and developing the tourism, propagandizing technology and experience in management and trade in the hotel in accordance with applicable laws.
6. To implement other powers of the Association in accordance with applicable laws.
