MEMBERS
Article 7. Members
1. Enterprises, socio-economic organizations and individuals leaglly trading in hotel and related services in Vietnam approving the Charter and voluntarily submitting an application for membership of the Association could become members of the Association.
2. Person being appointed to represent a member to join in the Association must have rights of a member in a legal unit. In case, the representative retires or gets a transfer, the members being organizations must appoint another competent person to replace.
Article 8. Conditions to become a member of the Association
1. The organizations and individuals in item 1 and 2, Article 7 of the Charter voluntarily submit an application for membership of the Association shall be admitted by the Executive Board of the Association (hereinafter named the Executive Board)
2. If the organizations and individuals being members of Vietnam Tourism Association (including the indirect members of local Tourism Society) wish to become an official member of the Assciation, they must submit an application for membership and be approved by the Executive Board.
3. The application includes:
- Application for membership of the Association (subject to the form)
- Copy of Establishment decision and Certificate of Business Registration
Article 9. Rights of its members
1. To be entitled to join in the Association.
2. To participate in discussion, vote and questions of all matters of the Association ; to make proposals or suggestions to the government acengies through the Association.
3. To be entitled to run for election to a member of the Executive Board and other positions in the Association.
4. To be dissminated experience and provided with professional training course to improve professional skills in the following forms: providing information and documents, taking part in seminars, professional and tecnical training courses, visiting and surveying at home and abroad.
5. To be introduced to units outside and inside the Sector to sign and perform contracts on services, technical specialists and consultancy.
6. To receive help and support from the Association in terms of manufature and business within the powers and capacity of the Association.
7. To be protected legal and proper rights and interests in business operations.
8. To be entitled to receive support from organizations and individuals to the Association.
9. To be entitled to withdraw from the Association.
Article 10. Obligations of members
1. To strictly follow guidelines, policies and laws of the State as well as regulations in this Charter ; to follow resolutions of the Association ; to propagandize and develop new members. To protect the Association’s prestige, to not be entitled to undertake external relations in the name of the Association without approval by a competent body of the Association.
2. To take part in activities held by the Association; to unite and co-operate with other members to build a stronger Association
3. To provide necessary information and data for the operation of the Association.
4. To make full payment for application fees, membership fees and other in accordance with regulations of the Association.
Article 11. Termination of membership
1. Any member voluntarily withdrawing from the Association must submit an application for withdraw to the Executive Board.
2. Any member shall be expelled from the Association if he seriously violates the Charter of the Association causing the prestige and finance situation of the Association, or if he fails to pay his membership fees in one year with remind.
3. A member shall be deleted from the list of member if the compentent authority suspends the operation, dissolves or declares the Association bankrupt. In case of temporary supemsion of the operation, the rights of members shall be restored if the Association is allowed to recover its operation.
The executive Board shall announce the list of withdrawal members, dismmissed members and deleted members to the others.
4. Rights and interests of the members shall be terminated immediately after a notice is issued by the Executive Board.
