Central location near many attractions
Rooms were a bit smaller than other 3* hotels I stayed at. The service was good, and its centrally located nead the old Frenck quarter and other attractions. Nothing special but good value forthe price

Gia bao grand is among the good hotels of this rank (3 stars) in hanoi. i had stayed in other hotels before, comparing to the last hotels, the room in gia bao grand hotel is bigger and more comfortable with modern setup. bathroom is clean and well arranged. the only minor thing is face towels are a bit not smooth. breakfast is good with many choices, however, there are only two choices for fruit juice - orange and lemonade. it could be better if hotel can provide some more choices - peach, cool water...hotel is sitting in the old quaters thus it is quite convenient for tourists as well as for business men who really enjoy quiet surroundings.
Travel tip: Good for your stay during holidays.



Good hotel, good location, great staff

Five minutes to the lake, nice breakfast, comfortable room, lovely staffi enjoyed it. comfortable, well appointed room. hanoi was cold but the heating worked well and quietly. drinking water provided. bathtub with shower. staff extremely enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. i missed having a window, but in hanoi they look rare, and the ventilation was good. only problem was poor wifi connection in my room, had to use noisy public area (large tv on). staff tried to fix but unsuccessfully. location was good, near everything. would go back.

i stayed for 1 night. though short stay, but is was a pleasant one. excellent location, 5 mins walk to the weekend night market. impressive lobby for a small hotel like this, modern looking, clean and spacious room/bathroom. will recommend friends to stay there...
